"It's More Than Words - Reading People From the Outside In"
How this book will help you...
Researchers have found that 93% of communication is nonverbal. That means the words we use are only seven percent of what we are trying to say. We simply haven’t evolved enough yet. So we must rely on the forms of communication that we used before we had language to help us better understand one another.
Physiognomy, the scientific name for face reading, is a very accurate way for you to effectively identify and analyze the features of the face that characterize personality traits. It is an excellent tool for any type of persuading and understanding.
Face reading is based on more than 3,500 years of observation and research that there is a correlation between the features of the human face and the personality traits of its owner.
It's all in the face, or more specifically, features of the face. For example, a straight nose belongs to a person who makes buying decisions logically. Protruding ears are a sign of someone’s independence and nonconformity. Low eyebrows show a tendency to interrupt.
In this book you will learn...
-
If someone is financially cautious or a spender by looking at their nose!
-
About a person's thinking style by simply looking at their forehead!
-
How people make decisions based on eyebrow shape!

“A man's face as a rule says more, and more interesting things, than his mouth, for it is a compendium of everything his mouth will ever say, in that it is the monogram of all this man's thoughts and aspirations.” ~ Arthur Schopenhauer
In the many years I’ve spent working with people as a business
executive, entrepreneur, teacher, husband, and father, I’ve found
that there is one thread that permeates everything I have
experienced. That thread is communication, or rather the inability
to communicate well. We, as a species, simply do not have the
ability to tell someone in words exactly what we are really trying
to communicate. We just haven’t evolved enough yet. So we must rely
on the forms of communication we used before we had language to help
us better understand one another.
Our intuition about people’s temperaments, feelings, and intentions
depend on what we observe in their faces and body language. We are
all intuitive people readers from birth. We are all hardwired from
birth to communicate without words. Before we had language, we
communicated by observing the face and body movement of the other
person. “Do I recognize them?” “What are their intentions?” “Are
they friendly or are they going to harm me?”
Recent studies of infants have shown that they have the ability to
recognize their mothers when shown a series of pictures that
included their mother and other women. A portion of the baby’s brain
actually lights up when it sees a picture of its mother’s face. In
fact, doesn’t a baby communicate with its parents without words for
many months until it begins to learn how to use words?
Understanding the nonverbal is a means to better communication with
every person we meet. Whether managing, selling, hiring,
negotiating, speaking, or interacting, the ability to determine
another’s attitude and frame of mind is a skill from which everyone
can benefit.
Mastering the skills of nonverbal communication is a valuable tool
for business owners, managers, salespeople, attorneys, human
resource professionals, politicians, mediators, counselors,
consultants, parents, teachers, physicians, psychiatrists,
therapists, criminologists, receptionists, nurses, public relations
professionals, writers, public speakers, and anyone who wants to
persuade with conviction.
Physiognomy, the scientific name for face reading, is the art and
science of one of the most important communication skills we can
learn. Face reading is an extremely accurate way to effectively
identify and analyze the features of the face that characterize
personality traits in people.
